Art Hoodie – Feelings You Can’t Explain (Trippy Trevor) All Over Print Hoodie
This Art All-Over-Print Art Hoodie is a multi-colored abstract piece hand-drawn by Jay Trevor (Trevor4ever on deviantART!) We teamed up with Jay on the deviantART, platform and he usually comes up with very unique 3D style designs, but this design was different. He states that this piece was a concept that he drew up by hand one day! The title of the original is “Trippy Trevor (Hand-drawn Trip)” and we knew instantly as soon as we saw it that it would look amazing on all-over print hoodies, so we begged him! (Just kidding…)
The Art Hoodie itself is soft and comfy, made from spandex and polyester with just the right thickness for air exchange, making it an excellent full-color hoodie for practically any season except for maybe the hottest months. It features elastic cuffs and waistbands, and a drawstring hood in order to keep the cold during the winter months!

ABOUT THE ARTIST – Jay Trevor
Jay Trevor is a popular artist on deviantART art community. He is a member of 57 groups in the deviantART community and has had well over 5,000 page views, and his gallery has been viewed over 13,000 times. He is very friendly, open-minded, and artistic, and he was naturally interested in 3D art and animation from a very young age, which is where some of his inspiration comes from. What started out as a simple passion for cartoons and video games, evolved into a full-bodied love for his now free to roam imaginative freestyle gift.
Jay says that he enjoys when people compliment him on his peculiar graphics and that he sets out make them peculiar. He creates graphics you aren’t able to find any other place else on this planet that provoke thoughts and emotions everybody forgot were in them… He loves people, being creative, and meeting like-minded people that have similar tastes that want to mix and collaborate with art!
Jay has been working as an artist for a very long time, and while he does most of his work in the Blender design software, his art style, and every piece that he shares with the other artists on deviantART come from somewhere else that exists way before it ever hits the software!
WHY WE LIKE Jay Trevor’s WORK
We like Trevor’s style because it is different than anyone else’s works, it’s colorful and full of meaning, and he just flows naturally and does what he wants with his pictures. We had the pleasure of speaking with Jay recently, and he admitted that some of his work takes a while to get right, but he gets the idea of what he wants to do and then stays working at it until he gets it right where he wants it!
We will have more of Jay Trevor;’s artwork up soon on all over print hoodies, posters, and more, and here is his profile in the meantime in case you want to follow him and see what he’s up to!
Now, we are going to give a brief history on both psychedelic and abstract art, for anyone interested in where these two art forms evolved from!
HISTORY OF ABSTRACT ART
Abstract art is believed to have started out in as early as the early 1900s with artists like Piet Mondrian. The style, for Mondrian at least, evolved from an approach he referred to as neoplasticism, in which he would deconstruct the original appearance of a painting, figure, or other work of art, and find the plastic expression of it, which… If you use a thesaurus to look up the word abstract, you will find words like theoretical; conceptual; intangible, meaning about the same thing as a plastic expression…
HISTORY OF PSYCHEDELIC ART
Psychedelic art refers to the art style that evolved in the late 1960s when hallucinogens started becoming very popular in the drug scene. The psychedelic art style is believed to have been fueled by Rick Griffon, Wes Wilson, and Victor Moscoso, some popular poster artists from the San Francisco area in the 1960s that became increasingly popular for using strong color palettes in their art, with contrasting colors, ornate lettering, and kaleidoscopic swirls.
