Post Malone Biography

Post Malone (July 4, 1995) singer, producer and composer. He was born in Syracuse, New York, United States. His birth name is Austin Richard Post. From a very young age his family moved to Grapevine, Texas. In his spare time he played basketball. His father was a food vendor of the Dallas Cowboys team, this allowed Malone to enter all the games for free and be close to the players. At age 12 his mother gave him a guitar. Received influence from Metallica and Megadeth, Malone made a transition between hardcore, classic rock and Hip hop and Trap.

 

He started a university career at Tarrant County College but did not finish it because Malone moved to Los Angeles, California, with his old friend Jason Stokes. During that time he had the opportunity to meet 1st and Rich of FKi and Rex Kudo, they did production work on several Malone songs: White Iverson, is a reference to professional basketball player Allen Iverson. By the middle of 2015, the official music video was released, received more than 613 million views. Post released other singles from his SoundCloud: Too Young, What’s Up, Patient and Tear $. Congratulations and rockstar (the songs with the most visits on YouTube) respectively reached numbers 8 and 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, in the United States.

 

Post quickly attracted the attention of record companies. As a result, he signed a recording contract with Republic Records and began working with major rap stars such as 50 Cent, Young Thoug, and Kanye West. Malone was invited to perform an opening act for the Bieber’s Purpose World Tour. Go Flex was his new single from 2016. He subsequently published a mixtape titled August 26. Malone played Go Flex on Jimmy Kimmel Live !.

 

Malone began receiving proposals from several labels. With Republic Records he released songs such as: Too Young, What’s Up, Patient and Tear $. He participated in Beats de Zane Lowe. He worked hard to launch Stony; his first album. This managed to position itself in the number 4 position of the Billboard 200 of the United States, thus obtaining a RIAA 3x Platinum certification. He later published: Beerbongs & Bentleys, includes 18 songs and has the collaborations of Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Swae Lee, YG, 21 Savage and Ty Dolla $ ign. He received very good reviews and reached the number 1 position in music charts and rankings worldwide, including the Billboard 200, from the United States.
